If you're not ready to hire, you're wasting your time

Recently, I've been working a couple of searches for some very in-demand development talent: Java Devs & Testers.

In every case where a candidate was put forward, that candidate either had another offer in hand, or landed one within 2 days of submission for a role. This data definitely underscores Tuesday's unemployment data for Washington State & Seattle/Bellevue/Everett!

If you are looking to hire Development Talent, and by that I mean SDEs of all levels and Testers of all levels, you have to be ready to pull the trigger now. You can't wait to look at more candidates; you can't wait to have an Exec review of your strategic plan; you can't wait for you CEO to return from their vacation. Be sure of your target and when you find what you're looking for, make the call.
